Corrections: how menu, price, location, hours, nutrition, allergen and promotion errors are reviewed and corrected using the strongest available current evidence.
What to include in a correction
A useful correction identifies the page URL, the exact sentence or table row in question, the restaurant if the claim is local, the date observed and the strongest supporting source available. For a local menu or price issue, include the exact item, portion, sides or modifiers and order channel so the comparison is like-for-like.
Official menu pages, official restaurant records, current nutrition/allergen resources and dated company disclosures are stronger evidence than an undated third-party list. See the source hierarchy for the research order used on this site.
What happens after a report
The editorial team compares the claim with the evidence, checks whether the issue is national or restaurant-specific, and updates the page when the stronger source supports a correction. Material updates receive a new review date. If an old URL duplicates a better current answer, the fix can be consolidation rather than maintaining two conflicting pages.
