Texas Roadhouse Catering Menu: Local Availability & Group Guide
Texas Roadhouse Catering Menu: catering availability is restaurant-specific. Use this guide to plan group-friendly menu categories, quantities and verification questions before contacting the selected location.
Quick answer: Texas Roadhouse does not run one single national catering program. Some locations happily take group orders, others do not, and the menu, minimums and lead time are set by the restaurant you choose. Build your plan around shareable ribs, pulled pork, Chicken Critters, salads and sides, then get a written quote from that exact location. As of October 2026, prices vary by location. This page is an independent guide. It is not affiliated with Texas Roadhouse.
Start with the exact restaurant
Important: Catering is not guaranteed at every restaurant. Some official location pages advertise catering while others may not. Confirm service area, lead time, menu, packaging, minimums and current quote with the exact restaurant.
For groups, start with shareable starters, ribs, chicken, pulled pork, sides, salads and beverages, then ask the restaurant which formats are available for catering. The regular global menu is useful for item vocabulary but is not a catering package or quote.

How catering works at a local restaurant
Nobody books catering in the abstract. You book it at one specific restaurant, with one specific manager, for one specific Saturday. That is also where most group orders go sideways, because a location ten miles away might offer a completely different setup. Some restaurants will build you a group order from the regular menu and pack it hot for pickup. Others will point you to large takeout orders instead and say no to anything that looks like full service catering. Ask early. A five minute phone call in week one beats a panicked scramble three days before a wedding rehearsal dinner. Expect the conversation to cover four things: headcount, ready time, pickup or delivery, and packing. Write the answers down. Names and times, too.The Texas Roadhouse Catering Menu, Item by Item
Starters set the tone while people arrive. A Cactus Blossom looks great in the middle of a table, Rattlesnake Bites disappear fast, and Texas Red Chili holds its heat better than most fried food. Cheese Fries are the one item I would keep for short trips only. Soggy fries make nobody happy.
| Group size | A workable starting order |
|---|---|
| 10 people | 2 Full Slab Ribs, pulled pork, 2 salads, 3 sides, rolls, iced tea |
| 20 people | 4 to 5 Full Slab Ribs, double Chicken Critters, 2 salads, 4 to 5 sides |
| 30 people | 6 to 7 Full Slab Ribs, pulled pork, 3 salads, 6 sides, 2 desserts |
Portions: how much is enough?
Under ordering is the classic catering failure. Nobody forgives running out of ribs at a birthday.
Questions to ask before you confirm
- Do you offer catering here, and what is the minimum order?
- How much lead time do you need for 20, 30 or 50 people?
- Which items can you pack in large pans?
- Is the quote itemized, with pans, utensils and sauces included?
- What deposit do you take, and what is the cancellation window?
- Who do I call on the day if the order runs late?
