Texas Roadhouse Takeout Menu: Complete To-Go Ordering Guide
Texas Roadhouse Takeout Menu: use the current menu to plan a to-go order, compare which foods travel well, and verify the selected restaurant’s takeout availability, modifiers, price and pickup time.
Quick answer: Most of the regular menu can go home with you, but not everything travels equally well. Ribs, pulled pork, grilled chicken and salads hold up nicely. Fries and crisp fried food fade fast, and a steak needs a short drive. Order from your exact restaurant, time pickup for when you can leave, and check the final cart before you pay. As of October 2026, prices vary by location. This page is an independent guide and is not affiliated with Texas Roadhouse.
Start with the exact restaurant
Important: To-go availability, pickup timing and final prices are restaurant-specific. The global menu provides item names, but the selected restaurant order flow controls what can be ordered for pickup today.
Foods with separate sauces or toppings can be easier to manage for travel; steaks, fries and fried foods can change in texture over time. Use pickup timing and customization options rather than assuming dine-in presentation will be identical after a long drive.

What travels well, and what really does not
Takeout has one enemy: time. In a closed container, steam works on your food, and the crispy stuff pays first. Ribs are the safest order in the building. A Half Slab or Full Slab, about $18 to $32, stays juicy in its own sauce and reheats without a fight. Pulled pork is the same story. Grilled BBQ Chicken, Herb Crusted Chicken and the Grilled Salmon all ride home well, and baked potatoes are close to indestructible.
Game plans for three kinds of night
Family night. Build around one Texas Size Combo, at about $20 to $34, add a Pulled Pork Sandwich or two, and let everyone share sides. Kids and Ranger Meals at about $6 to $14 keep the total sane, and one big House Salad covers the vegetable argument for the whole table.
Timing pickup so dinner is still hot
Order for the time you can leave, not the time you wish you could. If the kitchen quotes 25 minutes and your drive is 15, order when you are 10 minutes from walking out the door. Show up two or three minutes early, not fifteen. At the counter, do the boring checks. Lids on tight. Sauces in the bag. Rolls actually in the bag, because everyone forgets the rolls exactly once and remembers forever. Count the boxes against the receipt before you drive off, keep the bag flat, and skip other errands on the way home.Leftovers, reheating and the dessert question
Leftovers deserve better than a microwave blast. Steak comes back best sliced, in a low oven or hot skillet with a little butter, pulled early so it stays pink. Ribs reheat gently wrapped, with a splash of water. Fried items belong in an oven or air fryer.
